Why is my heart sometimes blue over you?
I wish I could answer why it is...
I know you never meant to hurt me by leaving me
I know it hurts but the hurt seems to have left me for the most part
I still wonder about alot of things though
Do you love me but in a different way?
Why did our hearts come together for a short time?
What drew your heart to mine and mine to yours
Why is my heart sometimes blue over you?
A song sometimes causes me to think of you
In a good way of course
I could never think bad of you
You were there for me
No matter how many times I cried or was hurt
You had a comforting word for me
I'm sure you longed to hold me
I longed to hold you forever as well
And hear your heart beat
But those things happened only in our dreams
But miles and time zones kept us apart
In a perfect world, those things wouldnt matter
Why is my heart sometimes blue over you?
Only God has the answer, I'm afraid
And He only knows why
Perhaps He has a bigger plan for me or you
I wish I knew what it was
So my heart will no longer be blue over you...
